The True Mission of a Business Plan

A Business plan is something that is always a work in progress.  Your sales forecast numbers always change, new technology can change how you communicate with your target market & competitors will come & go.  

The good news is that there is one constant- your mission statement.  

At Mad Munch, our mission has always been to provide our customers with the best grilled cheese sandwich experience, from the moment they see our logo to when they take their last bite.

It's one sentence that really tells what your tribe is all about.  The reason why you do what you do.  Your purpose in the marketplace of this world.

Everything else that comes after the mission statement is linked to your credo.  

For me, it was the easiest part to come up with, because I knew it in my heart & didn't have to over think or second guess it.  

It was why Kate & I pursued the brick & mortar buildout.  It was why we put up our pop up each week, everywhere that we could.  Not just for the money (which we needed to survive) but because it was the right thing to do.  For our community, for the tourists on vacation & for us to keep going- to press on & to be the best damn grilled cheese operation that we could possibly be.
